The Crick Boat Show 2022 will take place over the Bank Holiday of Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June, which marks the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Thursday 2 June will be Trade & Preview Day when all boats and quayside stands and much of the show village and boating marquee will be open to trade visitors and to Preview Day ticket holders.

From Friday 3 to Sunday 5 June, the show is fully open to all.

In addition to boats on the water in the Marina and on the land in the Show Village, there are chandleries, boatbuilders, marinas and brokerage firms, and food & craft stalls at the June 2022 Crick Boat Show.

The backbone of Crick Boat Show, the Boating Marquee is a large floored marquee filled with waterway related products, services, associations and businesses. It is an essential part of the Crick Boat Show experience. The list below is growing each week as new exhibitors are confirmed.

Our Show Village is a bustling outdoor area of the Show with a large number of exhibitors. Located adjacent to the main food court, and around the Land Boats, it’s the ideal area to enjoy a gentle post-lunch stroll. Home to our land-based boat display, make sure you visit the Show Village to explore these boats as well as those afloat in the Marina.

At Crick Boat Show, visitors can take a free trip out onto the water to experience the Grand Union Canal on one of our trip boats. Trip boats run every 10 minutes from 10.10am each day of the show and each trip lasts 30 minutes. All trips are run by LNBP Community Boating who will be collecting small donations.

If you have been hankering to own a canal boat or try a boating holiday but are nervous about how to navigate the waterways, the Boat Handling Taster Sessions at Crick Boat Show 2022 are an ideal way to build confidence and get a feel for what’s involved. They are also useful for anyone who may want to refresh their skills after a break from boating. The Sessions are 2 hours long and take place throughout the weekend, expertly led by RYA accredited trainers, Watercraft and Narrow Boat Skills Centre. Sessions will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The trainer will talk you through the basics of casting off, mooring up, boat etiquette, rope handling, breaking down boat jargon as well as the dreaded lock navigation! There’ll be an opportunity to take the tiller and steer the boat under the supervision of an experienced boater. Each session can accommodate up to four people, so the whole family can enjoy the waterways together (children must be aged 12 and over). Bookings of less than four people will share the session with others booked on to the session. Places are extremely limited, so advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
