The Knowledge of the seas network actively deals with the maritime dimension of 2021-2027 programming. After a first joint input to the discussion on the future of maritime Interreg cooperation post 2020 (see below), the network just recently met for a first meeting on the maritime dimension in the 2021-2027 programming process. The report from this meeting on 24 November 2020 can be found here. This event now is at the same time a follow-up to the 24 November event and a step further – by now looking at the maritime dimension of 2021-2027 programmes, and not programming as in November.
After a first exchange on the maritime dimension of 2021-2027 programming on the strategic, content and implementation level, this follow-up event will now go a step further. After the more general exchange in November last year, this event will now provide the Interreg programmes a platform to present their individual approaches to the maritime dimension in their 2021-2027 programmes. While these presentations will provide other participants ideas for their own programmes, their feedback and reflections will vice-versa help the presenting programmes in view of their own approaches.
