We will be working to help improve the competitiveness of the shipbuilding sector with the aim to form at least five export consortia formed by European interregional SME’s who specialise in the manufacture of certain built-in packages for marine vessels and structures (bridge, engine room, accommodation and deck) including offshore vessels, marine power plants, cruise ships, scientific vessels and naval.
The project involves partners from five member states of the Atlantic Area Programme (Portugal, Spain, France, Ireland & UK), with a total budget of €1.6 m for two years.
