The COP26: Clydebank Declaration rallies for the creation of green shipping corridors. Currently, there are numerous green corridors initiatives in various stages of discussion and, based on the level of interest seen in this space, many stakeholders view green corridors as a powerful tool in helping decarbonise the maritime shipping industry. This session assesses the feasibility of green shipping corridors. Will green corridors transform the maritime industry toward net-zero emissions and is the implementation of green shipping corridors feasible. It will also address the uncertainties surrounding the choice of fuel pathways and high investment costs to support the green transition.
