Engine As A Weapon VIII International Symposium (EAAW VIII)

July 2 @ 8:00 am - July 3 @ 6:00 pm

Event Navigation

  • « RenewableUK Global Offshore Wind 2019 Confrence and Exhibition
  • London Internationl Shipping Week 2019 »

EAAW VIII aims to explore the reality of complex systems and equipment which cross department and platform boundaries. These ever more intertwined system of systems is pushing the naval design, support and operator communities to focus on evolving intelligent platforms for the future battlespace. At this pivotal moment for the industry, the traditional platform and combat engineering disciplines are being driven closer together by the rapid development of technology with an ever more complex and software driven landscape in which to operate.

EAAW VIII will bring together the international maritime community to update and discuss the current advances in evolving intelligent platforms for the future battlespace and the outlook and direction for the future. The Symposium will also join forces on Day One with MECSS 2019 with the aim to discuss the shared challenges for both the naval and commercial arenas.
