November 5 - November 6

  • « Kormarine 2019
  • Bills of Lading Seminar »

With 2050 on the horizon, we bring together key stakeholders to discuss the fuels that will make decarbonisation, and even zero emissions shipping, a reality.

THE 2019 AGENDA WILL INCLUDE:

Fuel feasibility studies

  • Hydrogen, methanol and ammonia, what is proving viable?
  • Is there such a thing as a zero-emission fuel?

Bunkering and infrastructure

  • How can we address the infrastructure and safety challenges of bunkering with liquidised gases?
  • Can fuels that require super low temperatures storage ever be cost effective?

Are Fuel Cells the answer?

  • There’s been a lot of funding poured in fuel cells projects; we’ll be going beyond the hype to see if they can deliver on ROI
  • What are the ship and engine design challenges for using fuels cells for shipping?

The 2050 target as a market driver

  • Has uptake and commercial interest really improved since the IMO’s target was announced?
  • What interim measures are needed to drive innovation and investment in alternative fuels?

Full supply chain perspective

  • Our seminars attract speakers from the IMO, class societies, fuel majors, engine manufacturers and of course the shipowners themselves, to offer a 360 view on future fuels for shipping.

Interactive formats

  • The seminar will include open forum debates, Q&A sessions, and plenty of networking opportunities to ensure you can be part of the conversation and get face time with our experts.

WHY ATTEND?

NETWORKING

  • From breakfast through to a delicious two course lunch – the seminar is fully catered across both days offering a wealth of opportunities to meet your fellow attendees in a relaxed and informal setting.

EXPERT Q&A

  • Open forums and panel discussions throughout the programme offer your chance to ask burning questions to key stakeholders.

INNOVATIVE CASE STUDIES

  • A focus on real-world implementation of future fuel solutions; with operational detail straight from the shipowners themselves

INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP

  • The round table format under Chatham House rules provides a unique opportunity to discuss strategic considerations with small groups of peers across the supply chain.

VARIETY OF SPEAKERS

  • The ideal event to hear from a full range of stakeholders across the supply chain in one place; from regulators to refineries and everyone in between.

THOUGHT THERMOMETER

  • Compare our social media polling with opinion in the room to frame the seminar discussion within wider industry views.
