OWC2021 is a 'must attend' event for all those interested in this growing market.
The eighth Team Humber Marine Alliance annual offshore wind conference and exhibition will take place at the Aura Innovation Centre and Ergo Business Centre on the 21-22 April. It’s the event for all those interested in the rapidly growing offshore wind sector in the North Sea and beyond.
OWC 2019 was sold out and saw over 350 delegates attend and over 45 companies exhibit with a fantastic speaker line-up! For 2021 the event will be even better with more space for exhibitors and delegates!
OFFSHORE WIND CONNECTIONS 2021 (OWC 2021) will offer the chance to network with key players from across the offshore wind sector.
The Yorkshire & Humber region is rapidly becoming the epicentre of the industry with billions of pounds to be invested in onshore and offshore infrastructure. The region provides the best location to access to all three of the UK’s largest wind farms and 80% of all North Sea offshore wind farms and 60% of the entire European market (2020) are within 12 hours steaming.
Event Overview
Thought leaders and key industry figures will discuss the latest developments in the industry including updates on key projects from developers, government organisations, manufacturers, port operators, marine support, vessel owners and operations and maintenance service providers.
The conference will include contributions from guest speakers which will compliment workshops and panel discussions on specific subjects held throughout both days. On the afternoon of the 21st we will hold a RenewableUK Connect networking event to celebrate and showcase the region as “the” centre for this burgeoning industry. A celebratory dinner will be held at the nearby Hallmark Hotel on the evening of the 21st April.
