Braidbar Boats

Based on the Macclesfield canal in the rolling Cheshire countryside at the edge of the Peak District, Braidbar Boats have been building some of the best narrowboats at the historic Lord Vernon’s Wharf for 35 years. Braidbar now builds seven luxury custom narrowboats each year and from the combined talents of our craftsmen we take great pride in producing bespoke boats that are unique in their own right. Braidbar have now built a total of more than 180 narrowboats, all of which are unique in their own right. New technologies and innovations are regularly incorporated into the design and build process. Over the years we have gathered an invaluable library of knowledge to produce custom boats that are both practical and tailored to each individual customer’s needs.
