Cammell Laird unveils a new website for a cutting-edge warship, the Leander Frigate, in a bid to capitalise on growing interest from navies around the world.
The Leander, Cammell Laird’s offering designed by BAE Systems is at the forefront of modern warship engineering – a highly practical frigate that offers exceptional flexibility and is capable of delivering low lifecycle costs.
The new website contains images, technical specifications, and videos with 3D representations of the Leander, as well as information on the ship’s operational performance, flight deck design, sensors and weaponry options, and living quarters.
It has also announced that it has built a network of more than 2,000 suppliers as it builds its Leander Frigate supply chain, with more than five new suppliers registering every week
Tony Graham, project director for the Leander Frigate will be speaking at the National Maritime and GMC Society and the Sea 2018: Investinblue international conference on the 6th September 2018, Maritime Greenwich, London – Investing in globally competitive shipbuilding and repairers.
